The Write Stuff!

The Journey
In January of 2024, I retired from the corporate world to focus on what I loved most about both my work life and personal life: writing and editing.
Holding various positions, spanning multiple industries, I was fortunate to learn many skills that I’ve carried with me into my freelance writing and editing: story creation, speech writing, technical writing, manual creation, detailed schematics, leadership communique, website editing, project management, graphic design, and technical/software and organizational skills. I also possess marketing skills, composition and technical writing skills, speech writing, and more.
This combined knowledge has given me the tools to branch out on my own and support authors with their creative journey.
One of my favorite tasks was performing beta editing in the young adult genre. These books were extremely fun to read and have gone on to win numerous awards, which I fully credit to the author. I was just thrilled to be a very small part of her success. Check out Michele Kwasniewski's trilogy, The Rise and Fall of Dani Truehart. Regardless of your age, this series is a wild and fun read!
I am a proud member of the Editorial Freelance Association (EFS).
About Me
I was born in Maine, moved to California in 1968 and spent the better of my childhood and adult years there. Currently, I reside in beautiful Lake Havasu City, Arizona, with my husband and our little one-eyed cat, Winky.

In my spare time, I love to cook, sing, keep my writing bug warm and fed, fish and photograph beautiful things as shown below.
